Alaska Bear Viewing & Fly Out Fishing Packages

Kenai Outfitters Alaska fly out floatplane trips depart from beautiful Island Lake located close to Soldotna. The floatplane trips are often the highlight of our guests' trip to Alaska. It is an absolutely thrilling trip that is enjoyed by everyone of all ages. The planes are very comfortable and easy to board. If you've never flown in a floatplane you'll definitely want to book this trip. The departure from Island Lake is incredible and it is very enjoyable taking off from the water.

Once we are airborne we'll have a great view from the air. It's not long and we're cruising over Cook Inlet toward our destination. You'll see mountains in virtually every direction. Slowly, we'll begin our descent toward the West Side of Cook Inlet. Depending on our destination we'll land in either a lake or a river. If you thought the take off was fun you'll also enjoy landing on the water. It is so smooth you may not even know you're in a plane!

Float plane fishing allows us to reach some really outstanding fishing destinations that others are unable to access by vehicle or boat. Typically, the fishing is nothing less than World Class! Usually, your arm will wear out from all of the fishing action, but that is ok because you can then begin to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Certainly, you'll be focusing in on the Brown Bears that are fishing too! That's right, Brown Bears fishing too!

When you're not fishing you're likely to be taking pictures of the bears. Since we're in a boat we often times are very close to the bears. However, only if the guests are comfortable with being close to bears. Whatever is your preference we'll do it. You'll definitely want to bring your camera and plenty of memory/film for this trip.

Kenai Outfitters offers float plane trips for Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon and King Salmon. Fly-in Fishing is pure reality and not another dream! Give us a call or send an email to learn more about this fantastic fishing opportunity. It is recommended that you book this trip early as it is very popular and availability is limited.
